Please pray for my brother, Ivan, that God would remove the spirit of oppression that has been tormenting him for many years.  This will free Ivan up to live the life God had planned for him to live before he was born.  Thank you. ~Marlene

Please continue to keep Bonnie in your prayers.  She needs financial provisions.  Continue to pray for permanent employment.  Thankfully, Bonnie has been blessed with a 2-month temporary assignment, but currently has no medical coverage for her and her children.  ~Marlene

Prayer Request for Jim

I need to have you guys send a few prayers for my sister's husband, Jim.  He was diagnosed several months ago with a rare form of cancer in the nerves in his head.  They operated and did chemo and radiation for about 5 or 6 months.  They just found out that the tumor has grown and is almost at his brain.  He has been given weeks to months to live.  Please pray for his healing and for his salvation.  ~Lisa

A good medical report came back for Anita.  She has a tumor, but it is not cancerous.  They are going to be watching it periodically.  She feels great and we are all rejoicing!  The Lord is mighty and a great healer! ~Vickie

Prayer Request for Bonnie

Our dear friend Bonnie was laid off from her job last week.  The Lord has provided her with a 2-month temp job.  Bonnie has requested that we please pray for a permanent job soon, for God's provision as her car broke down yesterday and now she is not sure how she will get to work everyday.  As most of you know, Bonnie is a single mom and has turned her life completely around for God's glory.  Please pray for peace over Bonnie's household and for financial provisions. ~Marlene

Update re: Cara and continued prayer request

Cara had her surgery yesterday afternoon.  They did a 5-way bypass and took all of the veins from one leg.  I understand that's a good thing.  There were no complications, and she appears to be recovering as expected.  My brother-in-law and I were able to see her post-op in the ICU last night.  It was very hard to see her that way. This morning they were in the process of getting her up to put her in a chair.  Her pain management is under control.  I'll keep you up to date as she progresses.  Thank you for your continued prayers.  ~Rena

Please continue to pray for Cara and her healing and for salvation.  She is scheduled for surgery on Monday.  All of her arteries are blocked.  The doctors said it's from the diabetes.  They think she'll be okay because she's on medicine.  We need you prayer warriors!  Thank you so much. ~Rena

I have a prayer request.  My sister Cara is having an angiogram done Wednesday, and if they find a problem, they're going to actually do a procedure that day (probably something like inserting a stint in one of her arteries).  It's so weird because she's the healthiest one of us.  Thank you, my friends.  ~ Rena

Prayer Request for Katharine and her mom, Virginia

Please pray for Katharine, and her mom, Virginia.  Virginia was diagnosed with colon cancer last October.  She had surgery in December and has now gone through 3 surgeries.  She has been going downhill since the first surgery.  This is a difficult time for Katharine and her family.  I just talked to Katharine and they are making a decision to put Virginia on "comfort care" only this afternoon.  It's been sad to see Katharine going through this process with her mom.  She is exhausted and has given up hope. I don't believe either of them are saved, but pray that somehow during this process that it will happen.  Please pray for them!!  Please also pray that our Lord will show me how to comfort them and use me in any way to help.  ~In Christ, Ruby

Praise report re: Lucky

Lucky has been officially declared to not have cancer!  It is official that the "spot" on his tailbone is a haemangioma.  The doctor said this is a large red birthmark on his bone.  Thanks for all of your prayers, we certainly appreciate them!!  ~Lisa

Our lovely receptionist Anita is still having medical problems.  They are doing a biopsy of her salivary gland next Thursday.  Please pray for healing before she even goes in and peace for her and her family that the Lord is definitely in charge and not to worry. Thanks prayer warriors.  ~ Vickie

Update and Continued Prayer Request for Will

Please pray for Will.  He sees a Neurologist tomorrow for some other symptoms that have arisen.  I am bothered by tremors that he's been having periodically, and some cramping in his hands and tingling in his legs.  He is slowly getting better from the radiation....it certainly takes a toll on the body.  Thank you for your prayers and kind words.   ~Linda

Update and continued prayer request for Dot and her daughter Megan

Dot called last night sounding very good. She said to say "thank you, prayers are evident. God is working." Her daughter went home from hospital last night. Will have to see doctor next week re: potential surgery. For some reason, the area where the stomach pushes food down into the intestinal area paralyzed itself causing extreme pain. Doctors are baffled. They finally got it to work again but she's on a very limited diet until they know what's up with appt next week.     Dot said her leg is doing okay. She's been able to keep her physical therapy appts since Megan was in the same hospital she had her knee surgery.  She's very tired and needs some good rest.

Please pray for a friend, Dot. Her daughter Megan (early 20s) is hospitalized and will be having surgery. Don't know details yet but she's pretty stressed and just had knee surgery herself last week. ~Kathy
