Please pray for my friend Fr. MacDougall. I requested prayers for him in October and the doctors told us then they didn’t expect him to live until Thanksgiving. Then they proclaimed a miraculous recovery and sent him home days before Thanksgiving. But it wasn’t a total recovery. Yesterday he was hospitalized because he’s retaining water to the point where it’s hard for him to breathe. He’s gained 30 lbs. since he’s come home. Still things don’t look as critical as they did a few months ago. So please pray for Fr. Mac and for his wife Bev. Thank you, Kay
Thank you all for your prayers for Fr. MacDougall. He’s out of the hospital, but not out of the woods yet. He lost 13 lbs. of fluid and that has helped his breathing and other troubles. However, he still has a leak in his heart and his liver isn’t functioning the way it should. He still has a wonderful sense of humor. He said with all the open heart surgery, the scars on his chest look like a cross. He says he’s always thought of himself as a minister inside and out and now he has the scars to prove it. Kay
