My friend Marla just got a phone call that her sister in Los Banos had a severe heart attack and may not make it through the day. Please pray for Marla’s sister. I don’t know her name, but God does. I’m pretty sure Marla is going to try to drive to see her sister. Pray that God gives her the serenity she needs to drive safely. Please keep Marla in your prayers as well as all those close to her sister. Thank you all! Kay

Marla’s sister died that evening (Jan. 4). She was half way on her journey when she got a call on her cell phone that her sister had died. Fortunately, Marla has a strong faith in Jesus and is blessed with a wonderful support system of family and friends. She’s back at work and handling it bravely. Thank you for your prayers.
