Remember Nathan's job interview with Wachovia that we were praying about? Last week the temp agency told him that Wachovia hired two other people, so the positions had all been filled. This tested Nathan deeply. He has been looking for work, trusting God, putting God first and nothing seemed to be happening and his bills are coming due. We encouraged Nathan to keep praising God for His provision and not to let discouragement take hold.
Here is the rest of the story… Someone on Craig's list gave away gasoline for free so his gas tank was fill up, with the overflow going into my gas tank. Someone on Craig's list hired him to help them move yesterday and today, so he is earning enough money to pay his pressing bills, and they needed extra help so Raymond is working today too. (Another example of God's overflow of blessings…) Now the really, really good part. The temp agency just called him back. They made a huge mistake. It turns out that Wachovia did want to hire him and he will start work on Friday! I am so proud of Nathan because he passed God's test of his faith. He chose not to become discouraged, but to keep on praising God. God is sooo good. All the time. Victory in Jesus! Darlene
