Thank you again for the prayer within your prayer group for David. He has mantle cell lymphoma. He was told by his doctor at first that there is no cure. We went on the internet and discovered that generally they give 3 to 5 years. He has gone to Stanford and they told him that he could go into remission and have up to 10 years because they caught it so early. He has had 3 of 6 chemotherapy treatments and will continue to get the remainder of treatments. I suppose he is responding very well to his treatments because his doctors told him on Friday that they felt he would be a very good candidate to be cured completely. Doctors usually don't advise patients of this unless they are confident in what they are saying. In September, they are going to send him to Seattle to have his own bone marrow extracted. They then treat it and transplant it back in. Pretty wild, huh? We may not be out of the woods yet, but the power of prayer has really made an impact. Thank you so much.
