Stephen S., whom you've been reading about during his trials with cancer and the impending stem cell transplant, is now under strict isolation. In a period of time, 6 weeks to 3 months, he will have an opportunity to go to a clinic in Houston, Texas that has had considerable success with the sort of cancer he suffers from. He must have $40,000 in hand by that time (working on the shorter time of 6 weeks as the first possible date).
