Please pray for the safety of my nephew Jason, and his father and grandmother and for protection of their property. Their home is in Box Canyon, along side of the Chatsworth/Simi Valley fire. The last I heard they were on standby for immediate evacuation and helicopters were flying over head. Their main house burnt down a while back, so they have been living in their guesthouse. Also prayer for the fire fighters who are working so hard to protect all the homes in the area.
Praise the Lord for His protection!
God answered! The fire came within a block, but they were kept safe. The fire also went right around their little community church but didn't touch the chapel or the church grounds. There is a wooden cross mounted on a rock on the hilltop. The fire raged around it but the cross did not burn. God is awesome!
