Four American River College students were in a car returning from a school drama class trip early Saturday morning. The driver drifted off to sleep for a moment, tried to correct, and the car flipped over. The driver (Jenna) died at the scene, Jenna's friend John walked away without physical injuries, Leigha sustained injuries but has been released from the hospital, and Leigha's boyfriend Andy is in the ICU head trauma unit at Fresno Memorial Hospital.
Leigha and Andy are close friends of my daughter, and Leigha is like another daughter to me. I am planning to drive with my daugther Sarah and another friend to Fresno to support Leigha while she is healing and waiting to hear about the outcome for Andy. Andy sustained significant head trauma and brain damage and went without oxygen for a period of time. Please be in prayer for healing for Andy and for salvation for Leigha, Andy and others in their families and circle of friends. Please also pray for me for boldness and an open door to witness.
